Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Music Producer Lab platform ("MPL", "we", "us"). By accessing or using MPL you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a school or organisation, you confirm you have the authority to do so.
Music Producer Lab provides an online music production education platform consisting of interactive lessons, practice tools (sequencer, piano roll, synth playground), Song Studio, and administrative tools for teachers and school administrators. The platform is entirely browser-based; no software installation is required.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an individual account. School accounts may include students under 13 only where the school administrator acts as the responsible party and has obtained any required parental or guardian consent.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
School licences are invoiced annually. Payment methods accepted: bank transfer (BACS), purchase order, invoice, and card. Pricing is exclusive of VAT where applicable.
All fees are non-refundable except as set out in Section 6 or as required by applicable law.
We aim to respond to all support requests within the following timeframes:

Support is available Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 UK time, excluding UK public holidays. We target ≥99% monthly platform availability.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. We offer a full refund within 14 days of the initial purchase if you have not accessed more than 10 lessons.
School licences may be cancelled with 30 days' written notice. No refund is issued for the remaining licence period except where agreed in writing. 30-day pilots are free with no obligation.
All lesson content, interactive tools, video tutorials, and platform code are the intellectual property of Innovate Solutions. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform for personal or institutional educational purposes during the term of your subscription.
Any content you create using MPL tools (MIDI exports, WAV files, patterns) belongs to you.
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy. For schools, see the Schools Compliance & Data Protection page. Schools may request a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) by contacting innovatesolutionsnow@gmail.com.
We do not sell personal data. We do not display advertising to students.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Innovate Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of MPL. Our total aggregate liability in any 12-month period shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in that period.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers by email at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of MPL after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
